OKAY, OKAY, I know it has been forever, I am going to try and play catch up with the blog later. Our lives have been so busy lately.

Cody started kindergarten in September and Brandon started preschool too. They both love school and are doing very well.

Having both the boys in school also gives me a little free time, which is fabulous, and so I decided to joint the gym, which has just been great. I like having a little me time.

Tony is plugging along, working and hunting ( will post more on that later).

We also have been busy with our garden. It turned out very well this year with lots of zucchini, cantaloupe, red potatoes and some pretty big pumpkins. The boys do love helping in the garden.

I am just so grateful for the wonderful family that I have and the opportunities to grow together. I have to say that life is good.

SO TIRED!!!

I snapped this picture when I noticed that the house was so quiet. My little monster was fast asleep.

Cody, on the other hand, is all smiles today. He lost his first tooth last night and thinks it is "awesome"!!

4-wheel riding

We love to ride the 4-wheeler. The boys also love to try to drive the 4-wheeler. It is fun to be out in the hills and see the wildlife and spend time with friends.

Ryan and Cody spent a lot of time together riding.

Visit with Grandma

We had the opportunity to visit with Tony's grandma this summer. We all had a lot of fun.

Courtney's Graduation

Courtney has graduated high school. We couldn't be more proud of her. She is such a smart girl and a great role model. Plus she is super pretty!!!

The boys were great helpers to open graduation presents. WE had so much fun in Winnemucca with all of our family and friends!!!

My boys love to spend time with Courtney. I am so glad we got to spend this special time with her.

On our way home, Brandon had a chocolate chip cookie and I am not sure that any of it made its way into his mouth.

First camping trip 2010

We all love camping. We decided for Memorial weekend we should go camping in Copper Basin with a bunch of friends. It was so much fun but a little cold. I didn't get pictures but we were snowed on most of the time.

I did happen to get pictures of the kids. Lucas and Sydnie love the 4-wheeler and the fire.

Cody and Brandon really enjoy playing with Lucas and Sydnie. They are all so adorable.

Elk mount

I went elk hunting last November and got lucky with a 6 x 6 bull elk. Here is my European mount that I just got from the taxidermist. It looks so nice.

Ouchy

My little Brandon is always in high gear, the only problem is it seems he always has an ouchy. This is just one of many, but the ouchy never seems to slow him down.

Cody's Preschool Graduation

Cody has been going to preschool this last school year and at the end of the year there was a program and graduation. He was no nervous when he first sat down but then had a lot of fun. His friend, Lucas, was also in the program.

Cody is such a smart little boy and he learned alot in his preschool.

Worn out

Cody and Brandon play so hard all day long that they are worn out. Here are some pictures of sleeping boys.

Boys and bikes

Spring has come and the boys are ready to play. Cody has gotten too big for his bike from last year so now Brandon is riding it. He loves his bike.

Here is Cody on his bike. It is nice that we have a big driveway so they can ride all day long.

Easter

Time to color eggs, it is Easter!!! The boys had a blast coloring eggs, Cody took a picture of the finished product.

That weekend also was my birthday and my most wonderful boys got me the most beautiful roses. I wanted to keep them forever, so I took a picture, that way I can always look at them.

We also had great company for the weekend, Bryon, Angela, Courtney and Chelsie surprised us and showed up at our house Easter morning. We also had all the Mechams together for a Easter egg hunt at the park. It was so fun to have them here for Easter and my birthday.

Christmas

Christmas is finally here. Here are my boys taking a Christmas Eve nap to get ready for the festivities.
We went to Winnemucca for Christmas to spend it with Bryon, Angela, Courtney and Chelsie. We had so much fun. Cody's favorite toy was Rocky the Robot truck and Brandon's was his stuffed toy, Boots.

The boys ripped open packages and were so thrilled with everything they got, they were a little spoiled. We have a great Christmas.

Brandon's Birthday

Brandon is now 2!!! He is definitely not my baby anymore. He is talking up a storm and he is so smart.

We celebrated his birthday and one of his gifts was a alphabet puzzle, which he loves. He loved his cake too. Unfortunately, I was too busy to get much pictures.

Santa is coming to town

Santa Claus came to Tony's work, Premier, and the boys were so excited. They got a gift from Santa and had cookies and punch. This was Brandon's first time on Santa's lap. It was so much fun.

You can see that Cody was in deep conversation with Santa, telling what he wanted for Christmas.

Bundled up

We finally got some snow and the boys wanted to help me shovel the driveway. I just think they are so cute in there hats and coats and boots.

They each had their own shovels too.

Christmas is coming

Christmas is coming and we have started to get ready. Tony put up decorations outside and the boys helped me with the tree inside, that was very interesting but very fun.

The boys love all the lights and trees and decorations. They are so proud of the Christmas tree.

Hunting

Tony went hunting over Thanksgiving weekend to try one last time to get his elk. He saw one on Saturday morning and shot it but had to track it til Sunday about noon. When he got it down, he was pleasantly surprised with a 7 x 7 elk. He is beautiful, just a little bigger than mine. Tony couldn't be happier. We had a great hunting season this year.

Happy Thanksgiving

We spent a quiet Thanksgiving at home with my family. It was really nice. Cody made this pilgrim hat at preschool and we all just loved it. I am so thankful for my two precious boys and my wonderful husband. We have been so blessed. I am grateful for my family and friends and all the help and love we get from them.
