Fun at the playground

My sister-in-law Sam, invited the kids and I to Jensen's Grove to play. We had so much fun, thanks Sam. Asia, Grace, Cody, Brandon, Leah, Elizabeth and big Ben played in the sand, on the monkey bars and on the slide. Elizabeth was even decked out in her pretty hat.

Grace and Asia were hanging upside down so Cody wanted to give it a try.

He did really well. I think they could have hung upside down for hours.

Family visit

We had all of our family together for a weekend, I threw a baby shower for Marietta and it was so great to see everyone. Brandon joined in the fun while eating cake.

Cody and my niece, Elizabeth, had a blast with sunglasses.

We spent a lot of time with cousins and had tons of fun. Here is Elizabeth with Belle and Abby.

I wish I was better with the camera because I missed a lot of shots of the kids. It seems I can never catch the good stuff. It is always so nice to get the family together and watch all the kids play. I am very blessed to have a wonderful family of my own and to have a caring extended family.

Train Ride

The Railroad offered a free train ride today in Blackfoot. The boys, Mary, my friend Bonnie and her son Amory and I all went for a train ride. It was fun. Here is Mary and Cody enjoying the ride.

The boys liked to look out the windows and loved to run around the train car. Here they are standing in front of a mirror at the back of the car. It was fun to ride the train, could be fun to go on a trip on the train.

Cody's new bike

Cody has had a bike for a couple of weeks and I just snapped a few pictures. He is doing really well with riding his bike, he tells Daddy that he wants the training wheels off but he is not quite ready for that. He just LOVES his bike.

Bring it on

Cody and Brandon like to say "Bring it on", something they learned from uncle Kyle. Cody decided to bring out his mattress so that he and Brandon could wrestle. Brandon is a little better than Cody.

Family time

Tony finally got a day off so we decided to go for a drive just the four of us. I tried to take a picture of my boys but I have a hard time with taking pictures. This is the best that I got.


We went for a drive up by Dubois, which is where Tony likes to hunt, it was a nice drive and the boys liked to stop and throw rocks in the creek and Cody was shooting his BB gun.

Here is Cody with his BB gun. He loves to shoot it when Dad helps him.

Summer time

Well, I finally got the pool out and the kids played in the pool and the sprinklers. It seems like it just hasn't been warm enough and now it is so hot.

Cody and Brandon love the sprinkler, it is amazing how much fun they can have with just a little water.

The boys were thirsty so they decided to drink out of the sprinkler, they make me laugh.
