It seems we have had a lot of firsts in the last couple weeks. Our lives are changing so much and I am looking forward to all the changes we have yet to come. We are finally getting into a routine since summer is over and I am hoping to have so much fun this fall.

Tony's first bear

Tony has started his archery season and has great success so far. He hit a bear with his bow and arrow on Sunday and by the look on his face you can see that he is so excited. The black bear is pretty good sized and has a unique white pattern on his chest. We are still deciding if we are getting a bear rug or a stuffed bear.

Here is a shot of the bear's paw.

This is Tony with his friends, Ryan and Rex, who helped him haul the bear back to camp. They are all pretty excited.

Tony is still archery hunting for deer and elk. Good luck Tony!!!

Bridget's first elk

Our friend, Bridget, has been successful this archery season. She hit her first elk and is so proud. I am happy for her.
Her husband, Rex and dad, Gary are so happy for her too. Good job Bridget.

First day of Preschool

Cody's first day of preschool. He is such a big boy. He was so excited to go to school. He loves school and I love the 2 hours of quite time (Brandon usually is taking a nap).
I let him pick out his own backpack and he is so proud of it.
Kids grow up to fast, I am trying to take in every moment that I can.

1st hunting trip

Hunting season is here and Tony wanted to take Cody out with him on opening weekend. Tony bought Cody hunting clothes and everything. They got all geared up and took the camp trailer out and had a great time. Cody always wants to wear his hunting clothes.

trip to Winnemucca

Well, I decided to brave the six hour drive with the kids without Tony for the first time. We went to visit Aunt Angie, Uncle Bryon, Courtney and Chelsie. We were able to surprise Courtney and Chelsie, they didn't know we were coming.
Courtney and Cody had so much fun in the backyard. Thank you Courtney for spending so much time with Cody playing volleyball. You are his hero!!! Angie and Bryon had a company summer party that we went to and Cody won all kinds of toys and played on some blowup toys too.

I actually got a good picture, can you believe it. I tool thisof Brandon sitting on the fence in front of Angie's house. I am so proud of myself. Isn't he so cute!!!

I will fix it

Our bathroom sink was having some problems so I told Tony when he got home from work. Well, Cody overheard me telling Tony about the leaky facet and he ran and grabbed his tool belt and told us he was going to fix the leak. I tried to take some pictures, here are the best ones. He was so cute. I hope he is this excited to help when he is older.
